Miss Kittin, the darling of electronic music returns to Australia to play Big Day Out east coast. Lucky for us, she has blessed us with a couple of up close and personal side shows playing extended sets for her most dedicated fans!

Miss Kittin has a desire to sing, rap, produce and DJ – and she’s equally happy playing Prince with Black Dog or Aphex Twin and Kompakt. Grenoble born Caroline Hervé’s (Miss Kittin) become an inspiration and a significant electronic DJ and voice to surface. Beside long-time production partner The Hacker, they’ve produced Frank Sinatra and 1982 while her Felix Da Housecat collaboration on Silver Screen (Shower Scene) and Sven Väth Je T’aime confirmed her star billing.

In 2004 Kittin released her jackin’ electro pop debut album, I Com, which spawned hits Professional Distortion, Requiem For A Hit and Happy Violentine. Leftfield, extroverted, inspired and brazen, Miss Kittin’s extensive touring and remixes – Two, her 2009 collaboration with The Hacker (released via her imprint Nobody’s Bizzness) and All You Need EP – confirms her superstar tag.

Now based in Paris, Kittin’s second album, Batbox, displayed edgy characteristics – acid, techno, electro, rave – genres that influence her style and talent. Now with her third album to release in 2012, Kittin tours Australia this summer with two exclusive club sets over Australia Day weekend in Melbourne and Sydney!
