Massive thanks to The Breakfast Club's behind the scenes man Joey Amen for his continued assistance off air. Joey not only supplies the crew with the equipment they need to record the show, but he now also looks after all the editing. You can check out Joey's page at myspace.com/joeyamen

New Brekky Club Co-Host
Long-suffering listeners of The Breakfast Club will be aware that due to commitments outside Kiss, Out There Al, Little MISS Niss & DJ Paulie have all recently reduced their schedules slightly. Mods & Scotty Thompson joined the team a few months ago to cover the gaps on Tuesdays & Wednesdays respectively. This has proved highly successful and the trend now continues with a new look Thursday crew of Al, Paulie & (insert drum role here) Beanie. Currently holding down residencies at Mink & Q (Fri), Tramp (Sat) and Ocean Blue (Sun), Beanie is without doubt one of the most popular DJs in town, and is the only Melbourne club DJ to have the unfortunate history of spending her final years of high school with Al in her social group. You can catch Beanie’s first day, (and first ever appearance on Kiss), this Thursday 12 July from 7am-9am on The Breakfast Club. The Breakfast Club, Mon-Fri, 7am-9am.

The Young & The Restless
Next week the brekky crew will be chatting to Travis Hobbs from the amongst other backgrounds, the highly successful series of monthly parties known as Fromage. Having run his first events in Brisbane, Travis (aka bashmorebrother, alvin zephlar, djt1, dr disconyx, point&click symphony, deathclash boys and reverent meat), has since completed both event and recording projects in London and back here in Oz. From playing at festivals, writing film soundtracks and dropping tracks at Loop, Laundry, Horse Bazaar, Carlton Club, FAD Gallery, Dark Days Gallery, MORE BASS, Eurotrash, ESCOBAR, Qbar and more, Travis has plenty on his plate with plenty more to come. Catch Travis with Out There Al, Little MISS Niss and Scotty Thompson next Weds 18 July at 8am. The Breakfast Club, Mon-Fri, 7am-9am.
