Excited, scared, aroused. Similar to how Sharon Stone felt when William Baldwin first touched her in Sliver.
What do you think will be the highlight of the tour?
Sneaking up to the rooftop of the carriage at night, and train surfing into Sydney.
How do you feel about going on tour with UK superstars Groove Armada?
Great, I saw them play at the Horden Pavillion in Sydney, in 2000, before Van She existed. It’ll be nice to meet some chaps who’ve been in the game longer than us and have lived to tell the tale.
How would you describe your band’s live performance style?
Pure and utter ear dazzling chops.
Which city on the tour are you looking forward to visiting? Why?
Wagga, because Russell Crowe used to work out at a gym there.
If you could create and name a cocktail after your band, what would it contain and what would you call it?
Two table spoons of rapadura, a squeezed lime, three shots of cachaça.
How does the band prepare for a show?
We fight with taser guns!
In your opinion, what makes a tour great?
Fine dining.
Who is your favourite live performer and why? Where did you see them play?
Prince, because he’s a master of music, sexy dance moves, and I saw him at a secret show at The Basement in Sydney
